MASTERPIECE has some exciting news about our future. As of October 1, we have asked the Hogans, both key leaders for us over the years, to help guide us into a new chapter as co-directors of development. They will be working together to grow awareness of our ministry and to raise resources for support and expansion of our mission. As we move into our third decade of work, our vision focuses on multiplying the number of camps and students we serve each summer. We will also be prayerfully considering the option and opportunities that a facility of our own would allow. They will be connecting with our current donors and reaching out to new partners to cast a vision for increasing the life-changing impact of Masterpiece and the spiritual and artistic transformation that are at its center. It’s hard to capture the Hogans’ commitment to Masterpiece over the years. They have been a vital part since nearly the beginning, first serving in 2003.
Brian has served as our Camp Pastor every year since he started with the ministry and brings over 25 years of pastoral experience. As a youth pastor, he served churches in Texas and Alabama and has most recently served as a worship and creative arts pastor in suburban Chicago. He has often shared…
While I had been a musician much of my life, I never considered myself an artist. I was in my 30s when Masterpiece helped me understand that I was gifted by God and created to use my gifts for His Kingdom. I stand with many other artists who wish they had known this in their teenage days. This is what Masterpiece does. It encourages teenagers to discover and develop their gifts in the arts. It points them to the truth that the Creator has purpose and meaning for their lives. I can’t wait to help more teenagers and families learn of this amazing ministry.
Amy has served in a number of roles at camp including leading the culinary team and as small group leader. She served alongside Brian for years in youth ministry but most recently served for ten years on the women’s ministry staff of her church. She has shared…
Over the past 16 years God has developed a deep love and passion in us for Masterpiece as we have witnessed the impact each camp has had on the students, especially our three boys! We have watched so many students flourish during their time at Masterpiece. I am delighted to be a part of carrying this beautiful story to more and more students and families.
Brian and Amy live in the Chicago suburbs and have three sons who have participated in Masterpiece camps. We could not think of two more perfect people for this God-ordained task. Their deep experience in vocational ministry and long-term commitment to Masterpiece has uniquely prepared them. We are so excited about how God has guided the board and our team to ask them to take on this worthy task at such a critical time in our history! Please pray for Brian and Amy and our leadership team as we embrace this new vision for our future.
